Summary[]
Ordering the second challenge in Chouyu's place, Mao hears from the Masked Chef that it involves lobster deep frying, a challenge of speed.
Whilst the Masked Chef discusses his result, Mao clarifies that the lack of sauce means that he did not complete it. There is no need for Mao to taste a dish that is not complete.
When it comes to trying Mao's lobster dish, the Masked Chef discovers that the sauce was contained on the inside.
Inwardly impressed by his cooking skills, the Masked Chef can see why Chouyu took Mao under his personal tutelage. He reveals two containers, one an antidote, and a poison and victory depends on the third round. Mao accepts the term to drink the poison if he loses.
